Last week I read a wonderful post at Marginamia which had a little girl called Georgia -- with the nickname Peach. What a clever idea, I thought! That musing was followed by a request on the Nameberry board for names that have a ready symbol or emblem associated with them, which led me to think about other fruit varieties that are well known first names.
If Peach works as a nickname for Georgia, why not Plum for Victoria, or Cherry for Florence?
