The Bronte sisters: Charlotte, Anne and Emily were three of the six children of Patrick Bronte and Maria Branwell (there was also Maria, Elizabeth and, a son, Branwell), and are best known for producing, between them, some of the most famous novels in Victorian literature.
Their lives' story is a sad one, but these experiences helped provide a backdrop for the seven novels that they collectively produced.
