Here are some of the "B" (beta) and "G" (gamma) names — the second and third letters of the Ancient Greek alphabet — used for women in Greek society, that you aren't likely to find in a baby name book. Most are taken from tomb reliefs or stelae.

N.B. Final 'e' is always pronounced. Gnome is more like "gno-may" than "noam," for example
