After a delay (apologies!) here is the tally for the most popular names announced in The Telegraph in 2015.
Henry and Emily were both knocked off their #1 posts from 2014 by Arthur and Beatrice, both followed by a tie for second place by Edward. George, Henry, Thomas, Eleanor, Florence and Sophie.
In total 494 boys' births and 442 girls' births were announced between January 1st to December 31st 2015 from a selection of 174 different first names for boys and 200 different first names for girls. I have added variant spellings together for these rankings, an individual breakdown of which is underneath the ranking table.
