As it's the end of the year and I'm in a reflective mood, I've been looking back through all the Birth Announcement posts from 2017. So, for this month's Name Musings, I thought I'd share with you the ones which tickled my fancy most.
Names worth watching out for:
Alva Rose -- With Ava in the top 5 and Alba on the rise, Alva makes for a great alternative.
Deacon Dalziel -- This has all the potential to be the next Dexter.
Edison John -- The fashionable -son surname style with easy nickname of Eddie.
Letty Rae -- Lottie is now in the top 100 so Letty feels like a perfectly on-trend choice.
Novella Rae -- With Nova on the rise, I wonder how long it'll be before Novella gets more attention.
Nylah Faith -- Isla, Mya and Lyla... Nyla(h) is one to watch out for.
Raven Rey -- Rey (in any spelling) is the hot new middle name in Britain, and Raven is a great addition to the new wave of nature names.

Flora Verena Jane -- I find Flora delightful, and I love the pairing with stately Verena and classic Jane.
Griffin James Sirius -- I'm a sucker for a medieval heritage choice like Griffin
Morwenna Joy -- I'm a sucker for Morwenna but I especially like it with perky Joy to lighten its drama.
Orla Venetia -- I love the paired-down style of Irish beauty Orla with the grand elegance of Venetia.
Primrose Ophelia "Posy" -- I love all three names. Together, for me, this is perfection.
Rafferty Heath -- Love this combination of jaunty surname and rugged nature name.
Ralph Atticus -- A handsome cuddly old-timer combined with a stately Roman antique.
